About Christian City Church Fremantle

our historY

The idea to plant a church in Fremantle was the vision of the leadership team at Christian City Church Hepburn Heights, a large thriving church in the northern suburbs of Perth.

Nigel and Andrea Surman who were longstanding members of the Christian City Church Hepburn Heights congregation, moved to Fremantle with their team of 12 in 1996.  Port Community Church as it was originally known began services in the East Fremantle Tennis Club.  10 years later Christian City Church Fremantle (C3F) purchased its own facilities at 230 Hampton Road, South Fremantle where it is situated today.  Each year the C3F congregation continues to grow.
